Continuing the Dumped in January month, we have David Cronenberg\u2019s Scanners! With one of the most iconic special effects make-ups scenes in film history, this sci-fi thriller drove people to theaters in January 1981 to check \u201cthat scene\u201d pulling in a cool $14.2mn for New World.
