As our mayor of La Mesa said, \u201cAs hard as it is, this is not a time for blame but for grace, understanding, forgiveness and unity.\u201d We support our local leaders.

That is why this morning we are asking our viewers to focus on praying with us. Let us not be distracted from prayer and worship by engaging in discussion of the recent events.

We are calling on God\u2019s presence to fall on our city, on our people, on the churched and the unchurched of our community. We mourn with those who mourn. We weep with those who weep. We ask God to pour out his love and his mercy and his justice on La Mesa, San Diego, and our entire nation.

Let\u2019s allow God\u2019s presence to bring love, peace and goodness.
