Presence and Power #2 | How to be filled with the Holy Spirit | March 26, 2023Bob Schwahn | Lead Pastor
“On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, ‘Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.’ By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.” John 7:37-39 (NIV)
“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.” Ephesians 5:15-18 (NIV)
“Be Filled”
Present tense:
Passive voice:
Imperative:
Spiritual Breathing“If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
