Port Adelaide Football Club Captain Travis Boak is an Ambassador for the Childhood Cancer Association and joined Jodie & Soda to talk about the importance of helping young kids with cancer like 8-yea-old Alex who is set to become Adelaide\u2019s Best Firefighter Ever.Boak says he regularly visits the children in hospital following treatment and it really puts changes his perspective on what is important in life.\u201c\u201cIt was one of the hardest thing to see in the hospital they\u2019ve just got cords ion their bodies and some have lost their hair and they just look very sick\u201d \xa0\u201cYou go in there and you may have had a rough sleep or a bad day but you go in there and there\u2019s kids going through that and they are in the best mood and just so positive about life and I think that\u2019s certainly what helps them\u201dThe Port Captain encourages all supporter to don their colours and head along to cheer Alex as Adelaide\u2019s Best Firefighter Ever in Rundle Mall Friday 23, 2018.\u201cWe need all Port supporters down there Friday it\u2019s going to be a massive event for Alex and his family, he\u2019s a little superstar\u201d \xa0\u201cIf we can get as many Port fans as we get to our games that would incredible!\u201d
