Jodie & Soda surprise Kickstart for Kids founder Ian Steel with special donations from South Australians who want to make sure every kid has breakfast.Phil from Glengowriecalled in during Adelaide\u2019s Breakfast show and donated $1000\xa0 to the program with helps school children achieve positive educational and self-esteem outcomes through\xa0breakfast, lunch\xa0and\xa0mentoring programs.

Steel was overwhelmed by the generosity of Mix1023 listeners like Phil willing to support the cause.\u201cJust to open your wallet and your hearts like that means so much\u201dPhil told Jodie & Soda he wanted to donate to help the future generations.\u201cI look at it as paying it forward, these are out future\u201dMix1023 took donations all morning and announced at 9am SA Time they had raised over $25,000 for Kickstart for Kids.\xa0Jodie & Soda will be hosting a special broadcast from Victoria Square\xa0Friday\xa0December 8 to raise funds for the program.\xa0
