Adelaide forward Tom Lynch will have concussion test on Friday ahead of AFL clash with Melbourne but he told Jodie & Soda he's confident he will pass and play this weekend.

"I'm feeling pretty good at the moment and passed all the tests so far.... I'm pretty confident I will play on the weekend..."

Lynch did confess though the initial concussion test wasn't looking hopeful after Lynch was tackled to the ground by North forward Jarrad Waite in the second quarter at Blundstone Arena and was forced out of the game.

"Straight away at half time I went down to the rooms and you do a series of word associations and numbers and at the end of it I was unable to remember anything... but as you go on through the week I started to quickly do alright in those test so I'm progressing really well"
