In this episode the panel discusses various programming topics, and whether or not they are required knowledge for JavaScript programmers. This includes topics such as scopes and hoisting, closures, the event-loop, and the behavior of this. For each such topic, the panel discusses whether or not JavaScript devs are required to know and understand them in order to write better code, or pass job interviews, or to understand existing codebases.
