Wow! Our first episode! In this inaugural conversation, I interview Amy Howorth. I also spend time talking about a personal experience I had as a student at Pacific Elementary School that is one of the many reasons that I am running for School Board in the community I grew up in. Finally, I give at shout out to Dietz Bros. and get a question from a former Mira Costa High School student.

Amy is a twenty-two year resident of Manhattan Beach who served on our City Council for 8 years, including two stints as Mayor. Prior to this, Amy served an additional eight years on our School Board. In 2018, Amy was honored as the Woman of the Year for Assembly District 66. Amy currently serves on the Los Angeles County Commission on Women, she is a delegate to the California Democratic Party, and she is a consultant with local government agencies throughout California on governance and leadership. Amy has endorsed my candidacy for School Board, which is a great personal and professional honor for me.
