John Rothlisberger and Rev. Dr. Lanette Plambeck are two members of the Iowa Conference delegation to the 2020 General Conference. We recently traveled to Nashville for a briefing about the plans that will be presented to that worldwide decision-making body of The United Methodist Church in May. For Rev. Plambeck, there is \u201ca call to do what feels faithful [which] is a good outcome.\u201d John Rothlisberger felt that hearing representatives of the six ethnic ministry plans describe their significant growth in the church was \u201cuplifting.\u201d
