In this episode, I review The Game of Life and How to Play it by Florence Scovel-Shinn.\xa0 She was born Florence Scovel in Camden, New Jersey in 1871. While pursuing her own career as an illustrator, Shinn became a student of metaphysics, leading her to write The Game of Life, The Secret Door to Success, Your Word is Your Wand, and other books. She also became a popular spiritual lecturer and counselor. She died at home in Manhattan in October of 1940.

\n In the Game of Life, she says, "Life is a game, not a battle as most of us believe it to be.\xa0 However, in order to know how to play the game, one must have knowledge of spiritual law."\xa0
