In short, she has had an amazing life full of challenges being born 9 months before the Fall of Saigon(Ho Chi Minh City) in 1975, through escaping Vietnam, dealing with a congenital heart condition, arrival and growing up in the US, to her career and the current focus on being an author.

Her story is one of resilience, overcoming challenges, adaptation, dealing with multiculturalism, assimilation, and a desire to share her story and to inspire others.
