New Year, New Stupidity, & the New Journalism

Do you know what yellow journalism is? Sadly, it is the new definition for 21st Century reporting. I am still hoping there will be a news organization that will emerge in the new decade to actually tell the news instead of inserting themselves into the news. I can hope, can't I?\nIn the meantime, there are enough stupid news stories to insert my opinion into that starts us off for 2020. Like the one where a Grubhub delivery man delivered an "ash-whippin'" to a Florida Burger King.\nThen there's the pair of sexagenarians that took the "sex" part a little too far in a women's bathroom at a Florida beachside bar.\nHow about the nightmare on Christmas that frightened a North Carolina couple into calling the police when they heard noises in their home. This was one time that a police call on Christmas really sucked.\nAnd some gas pumps were the recipient of blows delivered by an inebriated Florida man who had just come from a Christmas party where he got into a row with his girlfriend.\xa0\nLooks like my Stupid World will have another banner year ahead.\n\n--- \n\nSend in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/eriklane/message\nSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/eriklane/support
