The Shanghai Symphony Orchestra \u2013 who are celebrating their 140th anniversary \u2013 have no experience of performing the baroque music required for Handel\u2019s musical drama, Semele.

Shanghai Symphony Hall \u2013 a concert hall not designed to house a theatrical set \u2013 is about to welcome one through its doors for the first time.
