The scriptures spoke of Christ's coming and he fulfilled the prophecies.\xa0

For to us a child is born,
\xa0 \xa0 \xa0to us a son is given,
\xa0 \xa0 \xa0and the government will be on his shoulders.
\xa0And he will be called
\xa0 \xa0 \xa0Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
\xa0 \xa0 \xa0Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
\xa07 Of the greatness of his government and peace
\xa0 \xa0 \xa0there will be no end.
\xa0He will reign on David\u2019s throne
\xa0 \xa0 \xa0and over his kingdom,
\xa0establishing and upholding it
\xa0 \xa0 \xa0with justice and righteousness
