Guns in books, assassins with useless arms, an eight-year-old driving in a car chase*. With a name like Gunpowder Milkshake, it has to be ridiculous. And it is. It's also ridiculously entertaining. Karen Gillan stars in this colorful, violent, all-out action romp. The setpieces are inventive, the sets are interesting, and the dialogue exists. And, believe it or not, there's a few lessons crammed in there. Don and Chuck discuss them, of course (Down with the patriarchy!). But, ultimately, this is the definition of a popcorn movie: Pure entertainment. Enjoy.
