Still hard as fuck to get necessary medical treatment. Intimate partner violence during pregnancy: Reports are conflicting about intimate partner violence (IPV) increasing during pregnancy, with some showing increases and others not. But people experiencing IPV during pregnancy are at much higher risk for homicide and developmental problems with the child. IPV is however shown to drastically increase in couples experiencing unplanned pregnancies.
