This is an overview of the IBM Maximo solutions for managing complex, component-based assets such as Aircraft, Weapon Systems and Locomotives. The presentation will describe the IBM Maximo Asset Configuration Manager solution and its ability to maintain critical assets for airlines, defense agencies and railroads. This solution adds Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul capabilities to allow Maximo customers to track asset configurations, support regulatory compliance such as airworthiness directives, address manufacturer service bulletins, and provide operations status management. Key capabilities of IBM Maximo Asset Configuration Manager include CMActive for component life accounting, Configuration Rules Management for build configuration management, and the Build Data Interpreter BDI for operational status management. This presentation will discuss how customers today are achieving benefits and return on investment.
