Diaspora conflicts usually derive from perceived insults or disrespect from someone from a different ethnic group or nationality towards another group of African descendants from a differing ethnic or national background. Most conflicts are inflamed due to mass generalizations and stereotypes of a negative context applied to varying groups. These conflicts can range from feelings of cultural superiority, feelings of disunity or abandonment, and or feelings of disrespect. Many African Diaspora Conflicts derive from misunderstandings due to cultural perceptions and usage of language. So why are Africans and African Americans still fighting this invisible war? Our enemy is not each other; our enemy is always white supremacy, capitalism, colonialism, and imperialism.
