What is Church Hurt? The term, refers to the pain sometimes inflicted by religious institution \u2014 a pain that distances sufferers from their communities and from God. Every year, about 2.7 million church members drop from church membership. One of the main reasons is attributed I\u2019m leaving as hurt and wounded victims after experiencing some form of abuse, disillusionment, or from feelings of abandonment and neglect. 23% Of Pastors Deal With Mental Illness...and 35% Of Americans Believe Bible Study Cures Mental Illness and that is not entirely true, especially if you are not religious so let's break it down with some facts and personal stories.
