From journalism to activism: creating space for LGBTQ, Native voices

Cindy Killion is a journalism professor at Winona State University in Winona, Minn. Although she is primarily a professor, she has been a fundamental force in fighting for LGBTQ rights, particularly in La Crosse, Wis., for the past 25 years.
