From The Heart of Delores Gray Ford!!

\xa0I Would say I have two focuses, one would be becoming a National winner Ms. Curvy Elite, 2015 with Today's American Woman pageant. Being in a pageant is something I would have never chose to participate in but was chosen by the Director Jera Lynn. I reluctantly went and so happy I did, because I Realized that it not just a pageant, and winning a crown, its a ministry that\xa0 empowers women to empower others through awareness, teaching, ministering, and volunteerism. Also, I know\xa0 what my passion and God purpose for me is. I was just certified as rape crisis advocate, and I work with other groups for Breast cancer awareness, Literacy, Health and Fitness.

With that said, three years ago before all this pageant stuff, lol I was severely obese, high blood, depression, type 2 diabetes, married to an alcoholic everything in my life out of control. One day I said not today, got up all 300 lbs of me, went and start working out and doing Zumba there too, and in a year lost 80lbs.\xa0 My Zumba instructor said you are getting licensed and certified. Now as of today with me winning the pageant opened doors up for me to help other with their fitness and health goals.
