From the moment you took your first breath, your soul entered into a war.  God loves you so so, has so much he has ordained for your life, that he wants you to commit your soul to Him so that you can experience life abundantly.  But Satan wants your soul too, and his desires are not personal, he doesn't even like you enough for it to be personal, even though he will attack you personally.  Satan is on a mission to win more souls into his kingdom than God can in His Kingdom, so the war begins and will continue.  But Satan does not control your will, that is a gift from God.  You are free to choose which Kingdom you will serve.
