Welcome The Test

As we lay the foundation for 2021.  I want to let you know regardless how well you plan, and how much you pray challenges and trials will come, it’s inevitable.  But have no fear because it is the challenges and trials that come with the best lessons.  It is the challenges and trials that strengthen us.  It’s the challenges and trials that remind us of the God we serve.

1 Peter 1:7 These trials are only to test your faith, to see whether or not it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests gold and purifies it—and your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold; so if your faith remains strong after being tried in the test tube of fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day of his return.

The old saints used to say a faith that can’t be tested can be trusted.  Faith is better than a friend but like a friend it doesn’t show itself valuable until you are faced with some stuff, until your plans have been derailed, until your money gets so funny it’s not a laughing matter.

What happens when challenges and trials come, we begin to remember who God is, we begin to speak his word out loud, we begin to use our creativity to maneuver through the detoured paths.  But what is even better is when God shows up in the middle of our challenges and trials and shows us something we would have never noticed about ourselves, others or a situation had we not been in the position at that particular moment.

We come through the challenges and trials with a little more experience and wisdom, but best of all a testimony. So welcome the challenges, embrace the trial with faith in an almighty God who we see you through the test.
