We were all born with an assignment, Jesus because He was God manifested in the flesh, knew His assignment and the depth of that came with His assignment.  You and I come to know our assignment through our maturing in the word of God and developing a sincere relationship with God that rests on our faith in who He is as the Alpha and Omega, the one who is the beginning and the end.

As we get caught up in the festivities of the celebration of Christmas, I ask that you pause for just one moment and answer two questions for me.  To what extent are you willing to go to know and fulfill your God-ordained assignment?  And how are you preparing yourself to be able to fulfill that assignment in a way that gives God glory?

Your life is a gift, the greatest gift you will ever receive, there is no other gift that can compare.  However, to properly care for and maintain your gift it will require that you offer it up to God in the name of Jesus.
