I want to start this morning by answering a simple question, why does God want and need us to walk in the spirit of freedom?  Because of what is required to actually be free.  See God is looking for those who will not conform to the ways of this world.  In order to fulfill the mandate of dominion we cannot conform to what we are charged to have dominion over and change.

We pray, “thy Kingdom come thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”.  God wants to answer that prayer. He wants His Kingdom to come on earth, but he needs believers, His children, those who profess to be joint heirs with Christ to conduct themselves like they represent the royalty of the Kingdom of God.

The spirit of royalty is consistent with freedom, as it requires the same, acceptance of responsibility, accountability and discipline. We are agents of the Kingdom of God, on a mission to claim what God gave us dominion over.  When a Kingdom claims land it is the responsibility of the agents of the Kingdom to implement and change the culture so that it imitates and aligns with the Kingdom of which it belongs.

For far too long the agents of the Kingdom have held up the mandate of the Kingdom which charged us to operate in the spirit of dominion.  How you ask, because we live as slaves to this world ruled by evil, manipulation, material things and selfishness. In II Chronicles 7:14, God is clear as He instructs us saying “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land”

This word was not for the sinners, not for the adulterers, the backbiters, this message was a direct message to those who say they love God, those who profess to be his children, notice the scripture begins with if MY people who are called by my name, that’s me, that’s you, that’s believers.
