Jesus hung and died to pay our sin debt, The gift of Jesus was God paying off our largest credit account, an account that, regardless of our resources, we could never pay.

The gift of His Son, continuously meets our greatest need, the Apostle Paul said in ,(2 Corinthians 9:15).  "Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!" 

As we give thanks to God this holiday season, let us not be consumed with the self-centered assets and grace God has given us individually, let be sincere in thanking God for Jesus, for allowing his son to lay down his life for our sin. Let us thank God for  access to His Kingdom, for his invitation to spend eternity with Him.  

Many say, I would rather have Jesus than silver and gold, but their prayers, their thanksgiving do not reflect such a proclamation.  Lord today we thank you everything  you have given us, every act of grace you have extended to us and every example of mercy you have shown us, but today we just the bow before you throne to say thank you  for the greatest gift  of all we thank you for Jesus.
