Why did Jesus have to die?  Jesus who was a sinless man was born to die. We may think he was sinless, loving,  and forgiving, surely God could have shown him some mercy.

What we have to understand is mercy does not ignore justice.  And the only reason we have mercy in our vocabulary, which means to hold back what is deserving, is because of the death of Jesus.

You see God can’t lie and to just wink at our sins would violate His word, somebody had to pay for our sins, because the bible tells us that the wages of sin is death and in all honesty we could never sacrifice enough to pay our sin debt.

Jesus the human manifestation of God had to come in the flesh so a physical death and blood could be shed. Leviticus 17:11 tells us for the life of the flesh, which is our sin, is in the blood, it goes on to say, for it is the blood that makes atonement for life.  www.BibleDeliverance.org
