I ain't scared & You can't make me

 I want to talk to you about something that is the underlying cause and root of sin, our wrong decision, bad relationships, family dysfunction, spirit of procrastination, racism, abuse, manipulation, un-forgiveness, hatred, debilitating insecurities, and our lack of faith.

I am talking about fear.  God gave me this word a week ago and all week he has been giving me a word about fear, he has been showing me how impactful and prominent it is in our lives.

2 Timothy 1:7 tells us for God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

But why isn’t it just common sense in some instances to fear.  Fear for physical safety in the sight of danger, yes that is reason for us to be scared.  But fear produces evil and sin.  Fear can be like shackles that bind us to everything God sent his Son to free us from.

God like any other good parent won’t give us what will harm, kill or destroy us and fear is a life threatening disease.
