Have you ever been around someone who just complains, has something negative to say about everything.  In the midst of celebrating they complain about the color of balloons.

They are usually also the ones who trust no one, believe everyone has a hidden agenda or are out to get them.

Proverbs 15:13  A cheerful heart brings a smile to your face; a sad heart makes it hard to get through the day.

Joy is good medicine.  Those who have joy are usually grounded in their faith.  See the issue is we have been tricked into believing that God has lost control.  

We sip on Satan’s poison, we have been duped into thinking politicians, the government, the media and Sagtan himself, have everything on lock.

Regardless of what it looks like God is still on the throne.  

Revelation 1:8

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

As believers it’s hard to talk to anyone about  God or lead anyone to Christ because we don’t know how to represent the Kingdom in the times of turmoil

 We called to be the salt of the earth.  The meaning of being salt has nothing to do with us  having the tang of salt,  but the value. In biblical times salt was highly prized as a preservative of food – so precious that it was used as money with Roman soldiers were even sometimes paid in salt.

Taking on the persona of salt of the earth, means we are to bring value to situations, conversations and environments.

Matthew 5:13-16 

“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. “You are the light of the world. Let your light shine before others, so they will give glory to God.

We  cannot effectively draw people into the Kingdom if it looks like the God we serve has no power.

In the midst of turmoil, pray for God to show you Him, his purpose and your assignment.  

As committed servants we should want to be part of the solution that gives God glory not part of the negativity that showcases Satan’s agenda.
