About the Show:

In this week's episode of the podcast, we sit with Creator and Filmmaker Blaire Hastings to discuss her love of film and learn about the industry from the bottom up in Northwest Arkansas.  Blaire is the host of the local program, Underground with Blaire Hastings, and she also works and supports the efforts of Fayetteville Public Television.  We featured FPTV and Dan Robinson a while back on the podcast. 

Blaire is originally from Southern California but has roots here in Northwest Arkansas. She originally started in music and moved to video and film, where she found her sweet spot of inspiration.  Blaire has worked on several local independent films here in Northwest Arkansas and just joined the film crew for the upcoming Meg Ryan and David Duchovny Christmas movie filmed throughout the local area.  

Blaire is also excited about being an Asian American Influencer in the creative arts. She hopes to encourage more young Asian Americans to get into the business of creating video, film, and music. 

We are certainly excited to be able to share her story with our audience, and we look forward to seeing Blaire on the red carpet soon. At least we will be able to say we heard her here first!
