Texas soils and climates are conducive to grow a wide array of fruits, vegetables and herbs including tomatoes, peppers, corn, potatoes, okra, cantaloupe, watermelon and many others. However, there is an evil lurking out there, plotting all through fall and winter, hiding in the soil, waiting to unleash it's deadly wrath every year on exactly June 8th.
