On this week\u2019s Richard Crouse Show we\u2019ll meet Dylan Smith. The son of filmmakers, Smith had an eye on a career in hockey until he was sidelined by an injury and discovered theatre. He is now an accomplished stage and film actor who has performed on Broadway, appeared in films like in films like \u201c300,\u201d \u201cTotal Recall,\u201d \u201cMurder on the Orient Express\u201d and many others. He will next be seen in Prime Video\u2019s largest title to date, \u201cThe Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.\u201d The series serves as a prequel to the events we all know from J.R.R. Tolkien\u2019s The Lord of the Rings trilogy and focuses on the forging of the Rings of Power and the One Ring in the Second Age. It begins it Prime Video run on September 2.\n\nThen, you know jenny Slate as the voice of Tammy Larsen on the critically acclaimed animated sitcom \u201cBob's Burgers,\u201d as Mona-Lisa on the series \u201cParks and Recreation,\u201d as well as films like \u201cObvious Child\u201d which won her the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Actress in a Comedy, \u201cThe Secret Life of Pets\u201d film franchise, \u201cThe Lego Batman Movie,\u201d and \u201cDespicable Me 3\u201d and recently in the critically acclaimed \u201cEverything Everywhere All At Once.\u201d\n\nHer latest film \u201cMarcel the Shell with Shoes On,\u201d expands on her popular YouTube videos that feature a talking seashell outfitted with a single googly eye and a pair of miniature shoes. It is one of my favorite movies of the year.
