There have been great high school basketball teams in West Virginia. Teams like Northfork, DuPont, Martinsburg, and more have forever cemented their names in the books.

Charleston High School, which is now Capital High, was dominate throughout the 60s and early-70s. The school produced numerous collegiate talent, including Levi Phillips and Larry "Deacon" Harris.

Mike Jones, a Charleston High standout from 1971-74, joins Taylor Kennedy, @Taylor_Kennedy7 on Twitter.

They discuss growing up in the Charleston area, playing over on 2nd Avenue, watching Jerry West play growing up, Deacon Harris, his time at Charleston High, and more!
