A handful of pointless audio clips from my digital archive.

I have a substantial collection of field recordings that I\u2019ve amassed indiscriminately over the years. This episode is a clip show of sorts, a little audio menagerie that is representative of the sort of unnecessary recordings that I nevertheless feel compelled to store indefinitely. Back in Napa there is a pile of cassette tapes which capture a very early iteration of myself, back when I had a cassette recording schtick where I would claim to be a journalist just to get people to talk to me \u201con tape\u201d. I wish I had access to those right now. But tape does not exist in the cloud, so I\u2019ll have to settle for more recent material. You\u2019ll get some fly-on-the-wall snippets of quotidian me, moments that are at once irreplaceable and totally uninteresting.\xa0
