Don\u2019t know about quail but Dad definitely hunted pheasants. I don\u2019t have all that much experience with guns but I\u2019ll share most of what I\u2019ve got. The pandemic introduced me to food insecurity personally, whereas before it was only through the filter of the food bank I volunteered with in West Sonoma County, or West County as preferred by its residents. There is an arts & ecology center out there where the food bank\u2019s master gardener would sometimes take us. I discovered both the bank and the center through the unlikely portal of HIV/AIDS. It could get kind of lonely up in semi-rural Northern California, so I was just grateful for the company.
