He is an author, motivational speaker and the subject behind ESPN's Emmy nominated 30 for 30 documentary "Unguarded". Chris has an amazing story about his battle with substance abuse and addiction while trying to juggling a NBA career and his family. Chris overcame his substance abuse and is nearly 13 years sober and helping the youth today in a number of ways. Chris founded the Herren Project, Herren Wellness and Herren Talks.
