The Shadow - The League Of Terror - Jan. 9, 1938 - Supernatural Mystery
Orson Welles played Lamont Cranston (aka Shadow) from 1937-38. The show ran until 1954 so there were many others who took on the role. Brett Morrison was the actor who did the most episodes. In this story Michael Sullivan is sentenced to prison for using counterfeit money and he won't tell the authorities who gave him the money because he is afraid of what might happen to his family if he talks.
