Sherlock Holmes -A Study In Scarlet - Part 1 - Dec 22, 1962 - Saturday Night Theatre
A Sherlock Holmes mystery without Nigel Bruce and Basil Rathbone... a bit refreshing with a good story. Aired in 3 parts in December 1962. First mystery written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle but dramatized for radio by Michael Hardwick. Carleton Hobbs plays Sherlock and Norman Shelley plays Dr. Watson. This is an extremely well produced program as it was done by the BBC. Part 2 will be released on November 9th at 3pm ET.
