b'Radio City Playhouse entered the anthology genre of radio late in the history of radio... 1948. NBC used actors from NYC rather than talent from the West Coast where most of the other radio series were being produced. There were many talented vocal actors in NYC and this show highlights that fact. It is entitled "Fanny" and is about an aging lady who is more than a bit grumpy but worth millions of dollars...and then she meets Joel.
