"Murder at Midnight" featured macabre tales of suspense, often with a bit of a supernatural twist. In was produced in New York and was syndicated beginning in 1946. Fifty-two episodes of this show were recorded from mid-April through December 1946. The ad spots on this syndicated show are indicated by the organ music which cued the broadcast engineer to turn down the volume so that the local spot could be read. This was one of several low budget mystery shows offered by the Mutual Network in the 1940s.
