Only about 18 recordings of this program remain... maybe that is okay... It was on the air in 1947 sort of as a "filler" when a station had to fill about 3 minutes of time. It was identified as a Teen Soap Opera... a "short" Teen Soap Opera between two lovesick southern teenagers who carry on their conversations all over the phone... hence on the line... yes, phone signals used to travel through a wire... some still do! On this track there are two 3 min episodes edited together. Someone sent Peggy roses and Paul is upset... and in the second episode Peggy tells Paul her Aunt Prissy is not going to make her leave town! The tension builds!
