Broadcast every Sunday from Nov 7, 1937 to Jan. 06, 1950. A Soap Opera played like a serial drama as each episode is complete. Jean Hersholt plays Dr. Christian, a country Doctor in the small town of "Rivers-End." Show was so popular and Hersholt so believable in character the he got many letters asking for medical advice. This was a doctor who knew everyone in town... made house calls... bartered at times when people did not have the money to pay. Sponsor was Vaseline Petroeum Jelly (commercials included). \nRosemary DeCamp played Nurse Judy... other actresses also played her... Lurene Tuttle, Kathleen Fitz, and Helen Claire. \nIn this episode a man has been accused of stealing $22 out of the cash register of his boss. He says he did not do it... what we need here is "Truth Pills."
