Jesse James (photo) was 34 years old when he died on April 3, 1882... while hanging a picture of a horse in his living room. Crime Classics is the historically accurate series the re-creates famous crimes through history. The narrator is Thomas Hyland (Played by Lou Merrill) who was so convincing, listeners thought Hyland was a real person! The series ran on CBS from June 1953 to June 1954.
