One of the strangest phenomenons of being a powerful, successful woman, is that men often feel intimidated by their success and power. Alongside that, many women are now choosing to focus not on love, but on the other necessities in life, such as money or career.

This has led to an ever-growing trend in many women’s lives that has come to be known as being “Unintentionally Single”.

Lyn is joined by dating and relationship coach - Jenna Ponaman in this episode to discuss this trend; the ways in which it begins and the ways to either embrace it or take the steps to act upon it to change it.

• Creating polarisation between the healthy feminine and masculine energies is a good thing. It keeps the relationship alive, full of passion and fulfilment. It’s when both partners try to live in similar neutral energies, or use them from an unhealthy place of fear and not love, that the relationship starts to become at best unsatisfactory or at worst toxic.

• Many women blame the lack of a relationship, or bad relationships, on themselves, which can lead to self-esteem / self worth issues. We need to remind ourselves that not everything is our fault. Don’t beat yourself up. Success in love begins with loving yourself first.

• Self-development is like a muscle. You have to use it often in order to feel its power and receive it's positive effects. Taking three steps forward and one step back is okay, because it means you’re moving and making progress.

• It all starts with you. You don’t have to rush. You just have to take the time to show compassion for yourself and ask yourself what it is that you truly want. Discover that and everything else will fall into place.
