Carrie Barratt, Longhouse Reserve After a three-decade long career with the Metropolitan Museum of Art and, most recently, a stint heading up the New York Botanical Gardens, American art historian Carrie Barratt, who grew up in Chicago, is the new executive director at Longhouse Reserve. She discusses the final open house weekend at Longhouse, prospective developments in the gardens, as well as overseeing transformation of the homestead to the now-deceased textile designer, Jack Lenor Larsen, into an art museum on his 16-acre estate & sculpture garden, which make up Longhouse Reserve.  Molly Bishop, Heart of The Hamptons Our first conversation with the newest head of Heart of The Hamptons, a 13th generation Southamptonite passionate about helping her home communities, including Sag Harbor, as HOH packs up more than 200 turkeys for local families in need this Thanksgiving. A coat and toy Drive collection begins this weekend and the 18th annual Polar Bear Plunge, plus another holiday food collection and distribution, is already being planned for execution next month.
