Brahna Yassky, Thoughtful Thursday Underwritten by Guild Hall
After a fire burned more than half her body, NYC painter Brahna Yassky moved out to the East End to work on healing from the near-death experience that changed the trajectory of her life. Her memoir “Slow Dancing With Fire” covers all three of the tragic fires with which she’s come in close contact. Dix Hills’ Eric Sabshon met Westchester’s Joey Gallo at college orientation on their first day at Binghampon University and the rest, as they say, is history.
