Stress is the "elephant" in the exam room of most visits to a doctor. It results in pains, poor habits, poor sleep and other outcomes, and often the Rx is a pill not a tool for stress control. You cannot avoid stress but you can manage it. This week we review methods to preempt and control stress in ways that are easy to learn and use. They can be shared with children too.
