The Show Must Go On

Sports and\xa0entertainment venues were\xa0among\xa0the first places to close their doors during the pandemic and\xa0often\xa0the last ones to open up. During that time\xa0many\xa0researched and learned ways to minimize the spread of the virus and outfitted their facilities to protect employees and patrons. The time-tested mantra that \u201cthe show must go on\u201d never rang truer than it does today\xa0\u2013 with a goal to get people who work in the\xa0sports and entertainment\xa0sector back on the\xa0job,\xa0and\xa0bring people together to enjoy their favorite pastimes once more.\n\nIn this episode, Melanie Koch, director of commercial at the\xa0International\xa0WELL Building Institute, shares what she learned as she partnered with different venues over the last couple of years and how her organization is helping facilities prepare and communicate the steps they have taken.
