"I heckled a guest speaker at a conference, but was still baffled when people suggested I had a problem."

Jamie grew up in an alcoholic home, and he carried that into his career in corporate communications.

Lucky for him he had an employer who was supportive when it came time to get some help.

"What really changed the game for me is when I was told that I was not a bad person who needs to get good I was a sick person that needs to get well, and that really landed with me."

Tune in this week and listen to Jamie #takeofftheblinders about alcoholism on the top floor. We'll talk about what he was like, what happened, and how he found his way to his latest project, bringing a 40-bed treatment center to Saskatoon, SK called "The Recovery Hub."

"abstinence-based strategies work in a perfect world, but our world isn't perfect and we need to start thinking differently."

We couldn't agree more.

You won't want to miss this one friends as we fall from the cooperate ladder, only to climb higher than ever this week right here, on Hard Knox Talks.

Buckle up!
