“I was working at Insite, Vancouver’s only safe consumption site, the day black market fentanyl hit the streets.”

Ronnie has been on the front line of the drug war for many years.

“We know what needs to be done to bring overdose deaths down to almost zero, but we aren’t being heard.”

With his own story to tell, he uses his lived experience as a tool to help others on the front line find the services they need to keep serving as they do.

“Harm reduction work is currently unsustainable, part of that is due to the lack of support for the workers on the front.”

You won't want to miss this one friends, as we hold the line on the war against people who use drugs this week right here, on Hard Knox Talks.
